Contracts/ Legal Specialist

The STS Group Team continues to grow. STS Group is searching for a Contracts/ Legal Specialist to add to our growing group of professionals. Roles:

  • Creating/Adjusting Customer Database
  • Creating/Adjusting Customer Agreements
  • Legal Assistant
  • Contract Evaluations

Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:

  • Creating Customers/Jobsites in databases
  • Creating Sales Tax in databases
  • Creating and Tracking Software Maintenance Related to Customer Agreements
  • Creating/Adjusting Customer Agreements
  • Customer Contract Evaluations
  • Reviewing Legal Documents

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Basics
  • Knowledge of basic Sales & Use Tax Laws
  • Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must be organized
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Team Player Attitude
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce/Dtools/Optsy is a Plus
  • Strong work ethic to include Attendance, Dependability, Punctuality, Honesty
  • Must have a Strong Attention to Detail
  • Must be confident in Making Decisions
  • Must be able to Problem Solve

Accounting Manager

The STS Group Team continues to grow. STS Group is searching for an Accounting Manager to add to our growing group of professionals. Roles:

  • Manage All Aspects of the Accounting Cycle
  • Remove Obstacles
  • Communicate Financial Information

Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:

  • Reconcile Bank Statements, Accounts and research discrepancies Monthly
  • Manage Billing & Billing Issues/ Customer Complaints
  • Manage AR & Collections
  • Manage AP & Cashflow
  • Manage Receptionist & Creation of Work Orders
  • Compile and analyze financial information
  • Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting control procedures
  • Prepare budgets
  • Report Monthly on the company’s financial health and liquidity
  • Review WIP and Completed Projects for accuracy

Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient with QuickBooks
  • Preferred BS in Accounting, Finance or Business or Equivalent Experience
  • Must be familiar with all aspects of the Accounting Cycle
  • Avalara experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Multi-State Sales & Use Tax Laws
  • Knowledge of US GAAP Concepts
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently with little or no supervision
  • Critical thinker with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and problem solve
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must Proficient MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in SalesForce is a plus
  • Strong work ethic including attendance, dependability, and punctuality
  • Must have keen attention to detail
  • Must be Confident in Making Decisions
  • Must be able to Lead others and Clearly Communicate Expectations
